Listen (2020)

On the outskirts of London, Portuguese immigrant couple Bela and Jota struggle to make ends meet. When a misunderstanding at their daughter’s school—who is deaf—raises concerns with social services, the family fights to stay together. The film portrays the parents’ battle against the system to keep their children and their dignity.
